Maison Estelle

Maison Estelle is a private members' club set within a historic Mayfair townhouse, designed to an exceptionally high standard throughout. The brief required polished plaster finishes capable of standing alongside fine art, antique furniture, and bespoke joinery without competing for attention.

Choice Finishes was engaged to deliver bespoke polished plaster across several of the club's principal rooms, working to a materials and colour specification developed by the interior design team specifically for this project.

Each room received a distinct tone and texture, tailored to its use and lighting — from richer, deeper finishes in more intimate lounge spaces to lighter, more reflective surfaces in rooms designed for daytime use.

Working within a live historic building meant protecting existing period features — cornicing, panelling, and fireplaces — while achieving a flawless, continuous plaster finish across large wall areas.

We sequenced work room by room, using bespoke protective screening and dust control suited to a finished, occupied heritage interior, and matched bespoke tones precisely against the designer's physical material samples before any wall application began.
